We have all been keen for lockdown to end and restrictions to lift so we can spend more time with family and friends. The Game Fair was the perfect tonic for many clients, friends and colleagues to get out and enjoy the summer sunshine whilst meeting up in more relaxed surroundings.

Even with the weather suggesting a downpour to dampen the mood, the team at Godfrey-Payton were not put off. Our confidence in the weather forecast being wrong was well-founded and we enjoyed a weekend of sunshine with a slight breeze to keep everyone happy.

Godfrey-Payton’s stand was positioned next to the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, close to Gunmaker’s Row and a stone’s throw away from the main arena. We were ideally placed and saw many of our clients who dropped by to discuss various rural topics of the moment whilst being refreshed with an assortment of food and drink.

Over the three days we saw a diverse crowd which even included celebrities such as Adam Henson and Caleb from Clarkson’s Farm. Overall it was a successful event where we renewed acquaintances and enjoyed meeting many people throughout the weekend.

The Game Fair was also a chance for others to meet one of our recent recruits Tom Picking who has joined the firm from another national firm of surveyors. Tom is a Building Surveyor who adds strength to our diverse professional team.
